The Road to Unfreedom: Russia, Europe, AmericaСергій оцінка ★★★★★ · 20 листопада 2023A book that every person needs to read before expressing their opinion on Russian-Ukrainian war.
It is a great read and has a lot of great insights. The part about Russia was a bit surprising even for me. I am Ukrainian, and I knew the typical Russian view on democracy, freedoms, and the value of people's lives and well-being not from books but through direct communication with them since the mid-90s. But the 100-year-old philosophical fundamentals behind it were new and eye-opening. The part on US internal affairs was also interesting, though you can spot the author's bias toward the democratic party.
